Physiotherapy aims to optimize performance and well being in horses.
In depth assessments are carried out to discover any problems such as muscle imbalance, muscle spasm or joint stiffness. Physiotherapists are qualified to prescribe your horse exercises for strength, range of movement, flexibility and proprioception.
Hands on techniques and electrotherapy are also used to treat your horse. From a retired horse to a competition horse, physiotherapy helps all ages of horses to prevent pain, injury and improve overall quality of life. We work closely with Veterinary Surgeons and Farriers to enable the best possible care for your horse.
